Dorn Named WIAC Wrestler of the Week

Madison, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse sophomore Bobby Dorn of Eagan, Minn. (H.S.) has been selected the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Wrestler of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Dorn captured the 149-pound title at the 32nd Annual UW-Eau Claire Invitational Feb. 6. He went 4-0 overall.
Dorn opened with a win by technical fall (15-0) over Matt Conahan of St. John’s University (Minn.). He won by decision (10-3) over Nate Lexvold of Augsburg College (Minn.) in the quarterfinals and advanced to the finals with a win by injury default.
Dorn then defeated UW-Eau Claire’s Andy Johnston by decision (15-13) in the title match.
He is 18-7 on the season.
UW-L returns to action Wednesday, Feb. 10 at UW-Eau Claire at 7 p.m.
