La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's tennis squad earned its ninth dual victory on the season with a 9-0 win over St. Norbert College (Wis.) Saturday morning in Mitchell Hall. The Eagles, playing in their 2010 home opener, improve to 9-2 on the season while the Green Knights drop to 4-8.
UW-L won all six singles matches Saturday.
Nick Piotrowski defeated Derek Harrington at No. 1 (6-3, 6-3);
Joey Van Lieshout beat Eric Koppmann at No. 2 (6-2, 6-0) and
Nathan Fekete defeated Nate Tackaberry at No. 3 (6-1, 6-0).
The Eagles'
Steven Quiring earned the win at No. 4 singles over Mike Hyrczyk (6-7, 6-3, 10-5);
Paul Vickers defeated Ethan Kadow at No. 5 singles (6-3, 6-0) and
Sam Talarczyk defeated Matt Lobeck at No. 6 singles (6-4, 6-4).
UWL took all three doubles matches with Van Lieshout/Piotrowski winning at No. 1 over Hyrczyk/Acosta (8-1). Fekete/Quiring defeated Harrington/Tackaberry at No. 2 (8-3) while

Matt Sova beat Koppmann/Lobeck at No. 3 doubles (8-6).
UW-L returns to action Saturday afternoon hosting Luther College (Iowa) at 3 p.m.
