UW-L National Qualifier Final Results
La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team hosted the UW-L National Qualifier Thursday night at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. No team scores were recorded.
The Eagles' 4x100-meter relay of
Kailey Charlton,
Ashton May,
Maggie May and
Laurel Beck placed second Thursday night. The relay set a school record and automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships.
Ashton May also automatically qualified for the national meet with a first-place finish in the long jump (19-2 1/2) and second-place finish in the triple jump (39-6 1/2).
UW-L's
Kaitlyn Joyce tied for third in the pole vault Thursday (11-8) and provisionally qualified.
Stephanie Peters was seventh in the pole vault (10-8 1/4).
Charlton was fourth in the 100-meter dash (12.36).
The Eagles' 4x400-meter relay placed sixth (3:54.75) Thursday.
UW-L returns to action Thursday, May 27 at the NCAA III Championships in Berea, Ohio.
