UW-Whitewater 183.650, UW-La Crosse 181.125
La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse gymnastics team fell 183.650 to 181.125 to UW-Whitewater Friday night in Mitchell Hall. The Eagles'
Morgan Shene captured the all-around Friday with a score of 37.025. UW-L's
Christa Booman was third in the all-around with a score of 34.700.
Shene also captured the floor exercise (9.375) while finishing fourth on the uneven parallel bars (9.250) and fifth on the balance beam (9.350).
Booman won the vault (9.450) and tied for second on the balance beam (9.450).
Other top finishes Friday for UW-L included
Jenna Swails placing second on the floor exercise (9.325) and tied for sixth on the vault (9.275) with teammate
Emily Dinse. Swails was also seventh on the uneven parallel bars (8.625).
The Eagles'
Jen Andersen was fourth on the balance beam (9.425) and eighth on the uneven parallel bars (8.125).
Kendra Klein finished third on the floor exercise (9.275) and
Kristen Buschke placed fifth on the uneven parallel bars (8.950).
UW-Whitewater's Allyse Dieringer captured the uneven parallel bars (9.525) and balance beam (9.700).
UW-L returns to action Friday, February 18 at the Illinois State University Quadrangular starting at 7 p.m. Joining UW-L and Illinois State will be Seattle Pacific University (Wash.) and Ball State University (Ind.).
