Orlando, Fla. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's tennis team opened its 2013 spring trip with a 6-3 victory over Colorado College Saturday afternoon. The Eagles improve to 12-4 on the season, earning their eighth straight victory. The Tigers fall to 2-4 on the season.
UW-L won four of six singles matches Saturday. The Eagles'
Kevin McMillen defeated Will Lindsay at No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-0) while
Kyle McGrane defeated Zach White at No. 3 (6-1, 7-5).
Tony Mirasola beat Oliver Guner at No. 4 (4-6, 6-3, 10-2) and
Nick Skanavis defeated Casey Shaw at No. 5 (6-1, 6-4).
Colorado College's Robert Kasemodel defeated UW-L's
Vic Mirasola at No. 2 singles (7-6, 6-0) while the Tigers' Jack Burger beat the Eagles'
Travis Murphy at No. 6 (6-4, 6-4).
