Box Score La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse soccer team fell 4-2 to the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) Saturday night at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.  The Eagles drop to 3-5-5 on the season while the Tommies improve to 7-6-1. 

UW-L took a 1-0 lead as Kelly Denk scored on a penalty kick at 13:16.  The Eagles led 1-0 at halftime. 

St. Thomas (Minn.) tied the match at 1-1 as Brielle Bierman scored at 47:51 assisted by Taylor Sabrowski. The Eagles quickly regained the lead at 49:00 as Kirsten Anderson scored unassisted. 

The Tommies then scored three straight goals to take a 4-2 advantage.  Kari Solheim tied it at 2-2 at 52:43 and Bierman tallied her second goal of the match and the winning goal at 65:37.  Hayley Engel added a goal at 85:29 to finish the scoring. 

UW-L finished with 10 shots, including three on goal.  St. Thomas totaled 22 shots, including 11 on goal.

The Eagles' Ashley Tracy recorded seven saves while the Tommies Tarynn Theilig had one. 

UW-L returns to action Wednesday, October 22 at Saint Mary's University (Minn.) at 7 p.m.
