UW-La Crosse is proud to host the 2015 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) Championships. The championships are scheduled for March 27-28 in Mitchell Hall.  The team and all-around championships will be held March 27 with the individual championships March 28. It marks the fourth time (1989, 1997, 2005, 2015) UW-L has hosted the NCGA Championships.  

UW-L has hosted several other national competitions, including the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on three different occasions (1986, 1997, 2013).  The university was selected to host the 2018 outdoor championships at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.  UW-L will host the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships for the third time (2011, 2012, 2017) in school history in 2017 at the La Crosse Center.

The university hosted the 1995 NCAA III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships. UW-L also served as the host of the 1973, 1976 and 1981 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's Gymnastics Championships.  UW-L hosted the 1965 and 1970 NAIA Men's Swimming Championships. The university has also hosted numerous games in the NCAA III Football Playoffs and matches for the NCAA III Volleyball Tournament.
